You will have the opportunity to lead students in an expansive range of engaging curriculum and activities. To deliver academic content in a memorable fashion, positively lead young people, bring new ideas to continue developing the program, and be a part of a community that fosters groups.

Fall 2022 & Spring 2023 positions

PROGRAM SPECIALIST

 

The Program Specialist is responsible for on-site program delivery such as: Outdoor School and Out of School Time programs (fall, spring break camp) as well as after school program delivery off-site at local schools around the OKC metro. Program Specialists for youth such as recreation, homework help, STEM, creative arts, conflict resolution, growth mindset, and other national curricula and/or programs. Program Specialists need to be comfortable working outdoors, excited about teaching, and able to pass a background check. 

Essential Functions: 

Supervise the safety of youth
 

Prepared to teach all curriculum areas through training, peer observation, research, and lesson plans.
 

Create and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
 

Provide direct delivery of Camp Fire programs to small groups of elementary - middle school aged youth
 

Work alongside other program specialists and Program Directors to develop, facilitate, and evaluate curricula
 

Set-up and clean-up program spaces

Weekly Hours: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, may vary occasionally

$14 hourly
