Summer 2024 positions
DAY CAMP GROUP COUNSELOR
Group counselors will lead a small group of diverse elementary youth and teens in scheduled and free-time activities. As a counselor, responsibilities include:
​
Supervise the safety of campers
Assist Activity Area Instructors when group is present
Actively engage and participate with group during scheduled and free time activities
Supervise and assist campers with daily lunches
Assist Camp Directors in pre-season preparation, post-season maintenance, daily camp preparation and end of day projects
Attend mandatory 5 day staff training (includes 1 campout overnight)

Weekly Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

OVERNIGHT CAMP GROUP COUNSELOR
Group counselors will lead a cabin of diverse teens 11-17 in scheduled and free-time activities. As a counselor, responsibilities include:
​
Supervise the safety of campers
Assist Activity Area Instructors when group is present
Actively engage and participate with group during scheduled and free time activities
Lead a weekly class period for resident campers to select from various options. Example of classes lead by counselors previously: theatre, creative writing, team sports, gaming unplugged (card and board games), etc.
Supervise and assist campers with daily lunches
Assist Camp Directors in pre-season preparation, post-season maintenance, daily camp preparation and end of day projects
Attend mandatory 5 day staff training (includes 1 campout overnight)

Must reside on site at camp each week from Sunday at 12:00 pm through Friday at 4:00 pm. Staff are also able to remain on site during time off
​
Weekly Hours: Sunday 12:00 PM through Friday 4:00 PM
​
EXTENDED CAMP COUNSELOR
Extended camp counselors will lead a small group of diverse elementary youth and teens in scheduled and free-time activities. As an extended camp counselor, responsibilities include:

Supervise the safety of campers
Actively engage and participate with group during scheduled and free time activities
Supervise and assist campers with daily snack
​
Assist Camp Directors in pre-season preparation, post-season maintenance, daily camp preparation and end of day projects
Attend mandatory 5 day staff training (includes 1 campout overnight)
​
Weekly Hours: Monday through Friday, *12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
*Start time is semi-flexible

​
ACTIVITY AREA INSTRUCTOR
Lead small groups of youth through specialized activity areas:

Challenge Course Instructor– Oversee rock climbing, zipline, and low elements challenge course.

Archery Instructor– Oversee archery and slingshot range.
​
Activity Area Instructor responsibilities include:
Maintain activity area equipment and supplies
Supervise the safety of all activity participants
Assist Camp Directors in pre-season preparation, post-season maintenance, daily camp preparation and end of day projects
Attend mandatory 5-day staff training (includes 1 campout overnight)

Weekly Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

CAMP NURSE
Our Camp Nurse will need a license in the state of Oklahoma and/or registered as a physician, physician’s assistant, registered nurse, LVN, nurse practitioner, paramedic, or EMT.
