day camp
Considering Day Camp for your kiddo? Here is everything you need to know about our program for the 2023 summer season.
Who do we serve?
Day Camp serves campers age 5 to 13. Campers must have had their 5th birthday before the first day of their week at camp. Youth are grouped by age, or as closely as we can with the enrollment for each week, and will typically be in a group of about 8 or so campers.
Program times
We offer 8 individual weeks of day camp, Monday through Friday. The hours for day camp are 9:00 am - 3:30pm. We do also a program to extend the camp day (see Extended Camp page for more information here).
Week 1: June 5 - June 9
Week 2: June 12 - June 16
Week 3: June 19 - June 23
Week 4: June 26 - June 30
Week 5: July 3 - July 7
Week 6: July 10 - July 14
Week 7: July 17 - July 21
Week 8: July 24 - July 28
Weekly Themes
Weekly themes will be returning again for summer 2023! For campers enrolled in multiple sessions, this will help make each session a unique experience for them. Each week will have small group games throughout the week and one all-camp event on Wednesdays to match the theme. Campers are welcome to come dressed up to join in on the fun! Stay tuned to find out the themes for this year.
Week 1: Superheroes
Week 2: Survivor
Week 3: Mystery Mayhem
Week 4: Dr. Seuss
Week 5: Speed Racer
Week 6: Return to Renaissance
Week 7: When I grow up
Week 8: Friends of the environment
Home in the Woods
Each camper group will have an opportunity to create their own Home In the Woods that will serve as their "home base" for the week. Using craft supplies and elements from nature, each Home In the Woods is decorated in a unique way that represents the personalities of the campers in the group!

CATs and CAs
At age 11, campers are eligible to participate in our Counselor Aide in Training (CAT) program. It is a one-week training session. This training takes place during the same hours as our regular day camp program and will be offered during Weeks 1 - 7 this year. After completing this training week, these campers are eligible to enroll as Counselor Aides (CAs). This is a leadership position for our older campers who have completed the CAT training and want to assist a group of younger campers in enjoying their week at camp, with the assistance of an adult counselor.
