Out of School Days

Considering Day Camp for your kiddo? Here is everything you need to know about our program for the 2024 Winter Out of School season.

Who do we serve?

Day Camp serves campers age 5 to 13. Campers must have had their 5th birthday before the first day of their week at camp. Youth are grouped by age, or as closely as we can with the enrollment for each week, and will typically be in a group of about 8 or so campers.

Program times

We offer 8 individual weeks of day camp, Monday through Friday.  The hours for day camp are 9:00 am - 3:30pm.  We do also a program to extend the camp day (see Extended Camp page for more information here).

Daily Themes

We are excited to have daily themes for our Out of School Day Camps. Please feel free to dress up and embrace the theme, as our counselors will be encouraged to do the same!

January 15th: I am a Leader

February 16: Save the Bluebirds

February 19: To Infinity & Beyond

March 15: Happy Birthday Camp Fire!

March 25: National Art Experience

CA's

Counselor Aide (CAs) is a leadership position for our older campers who have completed the CAT training (Camp DaKaNi specific training offered during the summer session) and want to assist a group of younger campers in enjoying their week at camp, with the assistance of an adult counselor.

important info

Is lunch provided?

Lunch will be provided for all campers. We only ask that campers bring their own water bottle. If you camper has a dietary restriction, please be sure to add that information into the health history form in your parent portal so that arrangements can be made.

Does my child need to bring anything?

We suggest that campers bring the following items and have their name on everything they bring.

-Water Bottle                        - Bag or Backpack                             -Towel

-Optional: change of clothes

What if my camper has medication?

If your camper has medication that they need to take throughout the camp day, please bring it in its original packaging and be sure that it is included in the health history form. Staff will collect meds at the beginning of the day and give them back at pick up.
